During my work on the "Essential Collection" CD I was fortunate to come into contact with the discographer (Derek Beeby) and publicity secretary (Les Peckham) of the Guy Mitchell Appreciation Society. The assistance that both fellows provided was absolutely invaluable. It was also their admiration of the singer that inspired me to build this site to commemorate his 80th anniversary.
My hope now is that this site will in some small way help to keep Guy's legacy alive and accessible to a new generation of music lover.
